About the 1969 AMC SC/Rambler
The AMC SC/Rambler was a high-performance version of the Rambler American manufactured by American Motors Corporation in collaboration with Hurst Performance. Designed by Dick Teague, the SC/Rambler was designed to compete in the NHRA Factory Stock class as a drag-ready car. Described as one of the muscle car era's "most visually arresting examples" and "likely the most outrageous muscle car from AMC", the SC/Rambler was powered by a 315 hp 390 ci (6.4L) AMC V8 mated to a 4-speed BorgWarner T-10
