About the 1974 Porsche 911 RSR Turbo
The Porsche 911 Carrera RSR Turbo was a grand touring racing sports car for use in endurance racing in the Group 5 category in the 1974 World Sportscar Championship. Designed by Norbert Singer, the 911 Carrera RSR Turbo was mainly used to test turbocharging technology in the racing scene following lessons learned from the 917/30 Can-Am car.
