About the 1983 Porsche 928S
The Porsche 928 is a luxury grand touring sports car produced by Porsche from 1978 to 1995. Designed by Wolfgang Möbius and Anatole Lapine, the 928 was Porsche's flagship model for a time. The original intention of the model was to replace the Porsche 911, although this did not work as planned due to the 911 easily eclipsing the 928 in popularity. 61,056 were produced.
