About the 1989 Ford Mustang LX
The Ford Mustang LX is a trim level of the third-generation Ford Mustang produced from 1984 to 1993. Designed by Jack Telnack, the LX was in effect an entry level and performance version of the Mustang platform, with a number of engine options ranging from the 2.3L Lima inline-4 to the 5.0L Windsor V8. Compared to other trim levels the LX featured minimal body cladding. 209,769 Mustangs were produced for 1989. This model depicts a drag-modified 1989 Ford Mustang LX.
