About the '61 Lincoln Continental
The Lincoln Continental is a luxury car manufactured by the Lincoln division of the Ford Motor Company. The fourth generation of the Continental, introduced in 1960 for the 1961 model year, was designed by Elwood Engel and was only available as a four-door sedan and convertible; it was designed based on an extended version of the Thunderbird's platform. Its construction and post-build quality control reflected Ford corporate management's commitment to quality, allowing the car to win many awards
