About the '64 Impala (RLC)
The Chevrolet Impala is a full-sized car manufactured by the Chevrolet division of General Motors. The third generation Impala, designed by Bill Mitchell and introduced in 1961, was restyled on GM's B platform. The 1964 Impala was restyled to have a rounder, softer look, while the Impala SS became its own separate model in 1964 as opposed to an options package.
