About the '74 Checker Taxi Cab
The Checker Marathon was a four- or five-door automobile manufactured by Checker Motors Corporation of Kalamazoo, Michigan from 1961 to 1982. Introduced in September 1960 to replace the Superba, the Marathon was notable in that it changed rather little over its long years of production apart from the usual mechanical changes.
