About the Audi R8 LMS
The Audi R8 LMS is a grand touring race car developed by Audi Sport for use in endurance racing. Unveiled in 2015 as a racing version of the Audi R8, the car is the successor to the previous generation Audi R8 LMS. The car is homologated for GT3 class racing and sees use in various endurance racing series, such as the GT World Challenge, Super GT and the Deutsche Tourenwagen Masters. Continually developed and revised since 2015 with two revisions, the evo and evo II, introduced in 2019 and 2022
