About the Audi R8
The Audi R8 is a two-seat mid-engined sports car manufactured by Audi. Designed by Walter de Silva, Frank Lamberty and Julian Hönig and unveiled at the 2006 Paris Motor Show, the R8 is effectively the production version of the Le Mans Quattro concept showed off in 2003. The R8 is powered by a 4.2L BYH V8 mated to a 6-speed Graziano manual or dual clutch, although later versions introduced use a 5.2L BUJ V10 similar to that used in the Lamborghini Gallardo.
