About the Ford Capri Gr.5
The Ford Capri is a fastback coupe built by Ford of Europe. Designed by Philip Clark, the Capri was produced from 1968 to 1986. The Mark III Capri, introduced in 1978, retained few styling cues from the previous generation as well as improved aerodynamics. The Capri was also used in motorsport, with German race team Zakspeed building silhouette race car versions of the Mark III Capri; powered by a 1.4L turbocharged Cosworth BDA inline-4 making 523 BHP, with up to 592 BHP available on tap using
