About the Hare Splitter
The Hare Splitter is based on a German version of a 1974 Volkswagen Rabbit (Germany: Volkswagen Golf Mk. I). The name came from the pun between the words "hare" (meaning rabbit) and "hair" (meaning (body) hair).
