About the "Hot Wheels" Honda S2000
The "Hot Wheels" Honda S2000 is a design by Maisto that debuted under a promotion at Red Rooster fast food chains in 2001. This tooling of this model was sourced and retooled for Hot Wheels by Just Premiums Pty Ltd. The base of this model reads "HONDA S2000". The real life Honda is an open-topped high-revving Japanese sports car produced from 1999 to 2009; this model replicates the AP1 generation of the S2000, produced from 1999 to 2004. This model is not to be confused with the later Honda S2
