About the Hot Wheels Ready-to-Play Set
The Hot Wheels Ready-to-Play Set was an unreleased Lionel, LLC product that was planned for 2019; it was intended to be a Hot Wheels-themed starter set done in G scale. It consisted of a battery-powered EMD F7 and three freight cars: a ramp car, a box car and a gondola. The train was powered by 6 "C"-size batteries and featured a sticker sheet. This set went unreleased likely due to failing to meet minimum order quantities.
