About the McMurtry Spéirling
The McMurtry Spéirling (pronounced "sh-pear-ling") is an electric high-performance prototype single-seat sports car manufactured by McMurtry Automotive. Designed by Andries van Overbeeke, the Spéirling was designed to "challenge the industry trend of increasingly heavier vehicle" and create a lightweight electric driver's car as a result; "spéirling" is an Irish word translating to "thunderstorm".
