About the Porsche 911 GT2

The Porsche 911 GT2 is a high-performance track-focused version of the Porsche 911, initially introduced in 1993. The 997-generation Porsche 911 GT2 was introduced in 2007; as with all previous generations of the 911 GT2, the GT2 acted as the highest performance offering in the 911 lineup. The car was powered by a 3.6L M97.70S twin-turbocharged flat-6; this was based on the unit used in the Porsche 911 Turbo, but featured twin turbochargers.
