About the Range Rover
The Range Rover, later rebranded the Range Rover Classic, is a four-wheel drive off-road SUV designed by Spen King, Gordon Bashford and David Bache and produced from 1970 through 1996. This was Land Rover's first true 4×4 SUV after having been convinced that such a market existed; all products prior to this were pickup-style utility off-road vehicles.
