About the Team Hot Wheels Corkscrew Buggy
This is a recreation of the Team Hot Wheels Buggy used in a corkscrew stunt. The buggy was built by Action Vehicle Engineering and ES Motorsports and driven by Brent Fletcher. The buggy is powered by a Volkswagen racing engine and hit its jump at 54 mph (87 km/h), rotating at 230° per second and completed the 92-foot (28 m) spiral jump. In 2015, a slightly modified plastic body mold was introduced, differing slightly by a slot on the roof hump and the engine cover.
